Beholder

BEHOLDER

Beholder is an integrated monitoring and surveillance system for disaster relief. Multiple sensor types may monitor the affected area, providing comprehensive coverage of its status on multiple fronts, from temperatures to seismic data. Each responder is immediately notified and may track the developing situation on their own endpoint devices, while situational awareness is expanded by a handheld scanner capable of registering multiple aspects of its surroundings, from multispectral vision (from visible to thermal, through low-light infrared), through magnetometrics, to local structural integrity. Additionally, the system may integrate additional sensing platforms seamlessly, such as ground-based rovers, or quadrocopters of varying sizes, which may be used to assess buildings and hard-to-reach places, enabling better time management during the relief and rescue operations, saving as many lives as possible.
